Congratulations to Rob Spenceley and Dr. Ranjana Mehta for publishing their paper on multi-human-robot teams in search and rescue environments. Through this work, they explored how the introduction of a robotic teammates impacts both teamwork, and taskwork of human members. They find that while beneficial in some aspects, robots may introduce “hidden costs” to team members, unobservable with non-neural measures.
